We will be building the el cheapo coat hanger antenna which is ok but not as good as a an array antenna

I will also show you how to build a simple beam antenna that should be mounted above your house or at least about the ground by 15 feet or so and is very directional.

Also we will be building an inexpensive 8 bay antenna that will really pull in the signals.  It also needs to be mounted above the ground in the air 15 feet plus. This antenna rivals the best.  But wait! I am not going to stop there. I am going to attempt to build even a bigger one; Say about a 24 bay antenna.

To top that all off I will show you how to build an antenna amplifier
to really put the icing the cake. I have a couple of designs we can try and see which ones work better. They will vary from a simple 10 DB amplifier (10 times amplification) another at about 16DB (40 times)  20 DB (100 times) and 30 DB (1000 times) woah, that may a bit too much. I think 20 DB might be plenty although I have seen ones for 28 DB. Mybe later we can get serious. I am a believer of a better antenna and then add the amplifier rather than a cruddy antenna and an amplifier. A cruddy antenna will do almost nothing and with an anntenna amplifier will create more noise than anything.  Stick to a nice antenna and then amplify it.
